I had planned on doing a Brick yesterday for my work out. A brick is when you do two different activities back to back. The typical brick is cycling then running. I couldn't get myself to get onto the trainer 2 days in a row. So yesterday I went out for a run with Izzie. We went 8 miles. It took 90 minutes because there was about 4 inches of fresh snow on the ground. I ran on the Provo river trail and for most of the run there weren't even any other foot prints. It's very hard to run in the snow but very quite and peaceful.
Today I made the brick up by going for 60 minutes on the trainer followed by a slow 5 mile run in the hilly streets above my house. The run took about 1 hour, not long enough to get Izzie tired.
1-26
Run: 8 miles 90 minutes (snow)
1-27
Cycle: Trainer 60 minutes (actually felt good)
Run: 5 miles hills
